Selling Property
First Impressions
When selling it's the first impressions on a prospective buyer that can "make or break" a sale.
It is vitally important in achieving the maximum potential of any established real estate to "polish" the home.
Below are a few well known, but nevertheless vital "tricks of the trade":
- Mulch on the gardens, freshly cut lawns and swept pathways create a welcoming entrance.
- Look at the front paint work and under the eaves. Stains, cobwebs and peeling paint could cost you.
- If necessary, call in a window cleaner.
- Kitchens and bathrooms sell houses. Do yours need attention?
- Let the natural light flood into complement, if necessary, your lighting arrangements.
- Remove clutter that we all accumulate and consider storing some furniture if the size of the home is not apparent.
- It's common to hire furniture for some or all areas of the house, if it is bare, or if your furniture does not show off all the aspects of the house to it's absolute best. Ask us for details of a reputable hire furniture company.
